En. Khalid is the founder of KOMITED Malaysia and has been with the organisation for more than 20 years. He held the position of Secretary General from 1998 for 15 years and has been appointed as the President since 2012. He is a true believer of holistic approach in tackling drug abuses and HIV/AIDS cases. He currently serves in the Country Coordinating Mechanism (CCM), representing the community of people who use drugs to the Global Fund. Apart from KOMITED Malaysia, he is also the co-founder of Malaysian Substance Abuse Council (MASAC) since 2015 and was a former EXCO of Malaysian AIDS Council (MAC) from 2010 to 2012.
Ab. Rahim bin Ab. Hamid
En. Rahim's main responsibility is in public relation and stakeholders management in which he plays crucial roles in connecting KOMITED Malaysia with society and corporations especially with Yayasan Pahang at the state level. He is the cofounder of Koperasi KOMITED Malaysia Berhad and served as its CEO in 2008. He holds a Diploma in Graphic Design and worked as a contractor prior to joining KOMITED Malaysia.
Salehuddin bin Saadan
In addition to holding the position of Secretary General, En. Salehuddin is also the Finance Director as well as Programme Director for all KOMITED Malaysia services and facilities. He has been with KOMITED Malaysia for over 15 years. Prior to that, he worked as a teacher at a secondary school in Ipoh, Perak.
Abdul Rashid bin Long
En. Rashid has been with KOMITED Malaysia for over 10 years. He holds the position as Programme Manager in liaison and representation of KOMITED Malaysia to The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.
Head of Fundraising
Raja Azizan Suhaimi bin Raja Abd Latiff
En. Raja Azizan is the Head of Fundraising Department. He is a well known figure in drug prevention programmes across Malaysia. He has worked with several NGOs for the past 20 years including as the Operations Manager of Cure and Care Service Centre (CCSC) in Chow Kit, the Executive Director of Rumah Nur Salam and the Secretary of Persatuan Bekas-Bekas Penagih Dadah Malaysia (PENDAMAI)’s Federal Territories Branch.
Kamal Pilos is an Executive at KOMITED Malaysia’s fundraising department. He is also a Programme Manager at The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria and the secretary of Pertubuhan Ikatan Usahawan Kecil & Sederhana Malaysia (IKHLAS). He is also the alternate member of Country Coordinating Mechanism (CCM).
Danisha Affandi Tahir
Danisha is a Senior Executive of KOMITED Malaysia’s Fundraising Department. She has been an activist and advocates for HIV/AIDs for more than 20 years. She is the cofounder of the Asia Pacific Transgender Network (APTN) representing Transgenders Who Use Drugs in the Asia Pacific Region. On top of that, Danisha has worked with PT Foundation and was a part of Country Coordinating Mechanism (CCM) representing transgenders.
Sarah Binti Zainal
Kelab SAHABAT is a voluntary body set up in 2003, dedicated for those who are interested in helping and supporting the aspirations of KOMITED Malaysia. Since its inception, the Kelab SAHABAT has been led by Mrs. Sarah, an entrepreneur and former radio presenter.
